Out of Karma as usual presented a set of music to enjoy and think about.
The band opened the set with their song "My Skin Catches Fire" and this was a new version and beautiful like the other two versions.
The song is a perfect showcase for Joseph Macwan's haunting, spiritual voice and the rest of the band added tight and restrained harmony with a lead guitar providing the gentle melody, and thoughtful drums as steady as a heartbeat and add to that a smooth as butter bass. And of course the keyboards gave the song breadth and colour tones.
Another song they sang "Don't Waste My Time" which is dance time! And I don't need much excuse to get up and dance.
I can't remember the titles of the other songs but hey I'm not a reviewer, I only report from the front line!
So to sum up, Out of Karma's set was glorious, tight, melodic, spiritual and above all happy. So when you listen to Out of Karma, let go - let the music wash over you.
You'll feel so good afterwards.
